When: Saturday, 23rd October in the Year of our Lord 2010
Where: Orange and Bronze Software Labs, Carlos J. Valdez (CJV) Building, 108 Aguirre Street, Makati City (check the map after the jump)
Some of the activies are:

- Philippines “National Keyboard Layout” by JC John Sese Cuneta
- Socials (question and answer; meeting the local Linux and Ubuntu enthusiasts)
- and many more!
Yes, I will be there presenting the new National Keyboard Layout for the Philippines. It has been in heavy development for the past two weeks(!) and the time has come to present it to everyone. Imagine being able to type the ₱eso sign and Ññ (like what I’m doing now) easy and quick.
Of course, Allan’s Introduction to Ubuntu and Linux in general, that is the most important of all. Allan Caeg, for those who do not know yet, is an emerging authority on User Interface (UX) Design and Workflow. He is also an Official Ubuntu Member, a founding member of Ayatana UX, a Board Member of the Philippine Open Source Network, a Committee member of GNOME.Asia.
Entrance is absolutely free! And we will be giving away Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat installer CDs (32-bit) with the latest CD cover design by Canonical. And of course, what is an event without food and socialization? Bring your gadgets! Just make sure it’s all FLOSS-CC (Free/Libre Open-Source Software and Creative Commons)… okay, just kidding, you can bring any gadget regardless if it’s proprietary or not.
Here is the map to the venue:
See you there!
